As a parent or caregiver, it is your job to advocate for what is best for your child.  Sometimes as parents, we do not know what exactly that looks like or entails in relation to the education of our child.  When caring for a child who is facing challenges which impact them in an academic setting (learning differences, medical concerns, physical challenges, etc), you understand the obstacles you can face in ensuring that they receive a supportive education that meets their unique needs.

Understanding your child and how they learn and approach academic and social situations can be truly invaluable information to help them succeed. Psycho-educational assessments assess their cognitive abilities, academic abilities, social-emotional functioning and executive functioning.

Some reasons for referral may be:

  • Identifying Learning Disorders

  • Determining appropriate testing Accommodations

  • Updating outdated testing results

  • Gifted Testing

  • IQ testing as part of the private school application process.

We recognize that parenting is hard! As we work with your child and understand what will help them to thrive, we also want to teach you, the parent, strategies and tools to best help your child.   We will partner with you to help your child reach their full potential, as we know that ultimately you will be with them helping them navigate in real time.
